The Alison Score Foundation for Breast Cancer Education is a non-profit organization focused on educating young women about breast health, and the prevention, detection and treatment of breast cancer. Through education, advocacy and awareness, the foundation seeks to empower young women to practice good breast health at an early age.
Alexandra M. Eanes established the Alison Score Foundation for Breast Cancer Education on October 23, 2005 as a tribute to her sister, Alison Score, who fights Inflammatory Breast Cancer. Diagnosed at the age of 35, Alison underwent chemotherapy, radiation, a double mastectomy, and a hysterectomy. Alison is a daughter, a sister, a wife, and a mother to two children. It is their hope that young women learn the importance of breast health issues and feel armed to deal with them positively and proactively.
How You Can Help…
As with any Foundation, funding is an integral part of continuing the fight. We are fighting against breast cancer through education, advocacy and awareness.
